Inbound calls can be routed to any of the included features: Automated-Attendants, Ring Groups, live receptionists and more. Voigo's Hosted Voice gives you the freedom to route calls anywhere, including the ability to route calls based on a schedule or day/night modes - All without any back-office hardware to configure and support.
Outbound calls from any of your phone devices are routed through Voigo Carrier Network and each phone can have specific Caller ID.
A VoIP phone is sometimes called a VoIP Terminal.
A VoIP phone is more like a computer than an actual phone, which is why it is sometimes referred to as a 'terminal'. Sure it looks like a phone, but it converts incoming and outgoing voice calls to data and sends that data, over the internet to our Voice Cloud Service. This is where the connectivity to the outside world and other VoIP phones on your account occur. Dial-direct to other users in your organization, regardless of location, using a short, customizable 'extension' number.
VoIP phones also typically do much more that just make and receive calls. Many of them offer real-time indicators for functions like Voice-Mail, Active Parks, one-touch transfers, presence BLF (Busy-Lamp-Fields), and more.
Voigo's Hosted Voice Services leverage the power of these phones and features to provide a highly-customizable configuration, so it works the way you want to work.
We'll take care of everything - just how you like it.
Installing a new phone system may sound like a daunting task, but Voigo makes it easy and manages every step of the way. We know a one-size-fits-all approach will not help you meet your business communication goals, so we custom design each solution based on your specific business and requirements.
Step 1: Working with you, we'll help you choose the phones and configuration that is best for your needs. During this step, we identify users, email-addresses, local and toll-free numbers to be ported and user's cell numbers if applicable.
Step 2: Voigo will perform on-site network tests to make sure your network infrastructure will support the VoIP connectivity your offices will need.
Step 4: We'll build your configuration in our Voice Cloud, test and configure every phone. Your phones will arrive completely configured and ready to go.
Step 5: We'll ship the phones to you offices, optionally we'll deliver and install.
Step 6: Voigo will train key personnel on functionality like parking, transferring voice-mail and more. Once your staff is trained, we setup temporary phone numbers for optional call forwarding so you can start using the phone right away. During this step Voigo will start the porting process, moving your existing numbers to our platform.
Step 7: Voigo will confirm that your phone numbers have been moved to our platform from your existing provider. You can now cancel your old service and enjoy all the benefits of the Voigo Hosted Voice Service.
